Dan Gariepy is a musician, missionary, and storyteller passionate about empowering others to live missionally and embrace their God-given purpose.

 

Based in Belize with his wife and children, Dan dedicates his life to youth mentorship, empowerment, and equipping others to discover and use their gifts to bless their communities and go to the nations. Through mentoring, ministry, and music, Dan is helping raise up the next generation of leaders who will make an impact locally and globally.

Dan’s musical journey continues to inspire and uplift. He has released eight instrumental piano albums, including Reflections of Christmas, Secret Place, and Abide. His music, often described as peaceful and spiritually rich, has been featured in churches, private concerts, and community venues such as the Toledo Zoo.

 

As the host of The Missional Life Podcast, Dan shares stories of faith and mission, encouraging others to live with purpose and a heart for the nations.

Dan’s journey to this point has been shaped by unique and transformative experiences. At fifteen, he spent six months in Germany as an exchange student, immersing himself in the culture and broadening his perspective on life. His passion for global ministry was solidified through the Semester at Sea program, where he sailed to destinations such as the Amazon, South Africa, and China, gathering unforgettable experiences like shark diving, trekking the rainforest, and climbing the Great Wall.

His academic path reflects his global mindset and commitment to service. Dan earned associate degrees in Business Management and Marketing from Northwest State Community College before completing a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies at Miami University in Ohio. He later pursued a Master’s degree in Poverty Reduction from the University of London, equipping him with the tools to address complex challenges and empower communities.

Through his life’s work, Dan continues to use his talents and experiences to inspire others, encouraging them to connect with their purpose, embrace their gifts, and bring light to the world. Whether mentoring youth in Belize, creating music that stirs the soul, or sharing stories through his podcast, Dan’s mission is clear: to empower others to live boldly and missionally for God’s glory.
